About Dapperdawg

 

Iain and Jill would like to welcome you to the site of Dapperdawg Beagles.

Our family consists of ourselves, sons Riis and Sean and our Beagles, Hartley, Mori, Darci, Monty and Fudge. As you can imagine, our house can get a bit crowded at times. We have loved and owned Beagles now for approximately 6 years, getting our first beagle Hartley in April 2003. After a while we realised he needed a companion. After a somewhat long search we got in touch with Jim & Debbie Linden (Bruadair Beagles) who have since became great friends of ours (and a source of some much needed advice and information). They allowed us to take home Mori (Bruadair Aghmhor) and they also introduced us to the show ring..... that was us hooked!!! Showing now takes up most of our weekends traveling up and down the country, meeting and making new friends.

After much consideration we applied for and received our affix "Dapperdawg" in 2007. Dapper meaning neat, smart and well groomed (not the case after their walk on a rainy, muddy day)
