27th Buddy our Tri boy goes to a new home today, a quick visit to the vet for all pups first vaccinations then we head to Culloden, we took his brother Murphy and sister Ruby and aunt Cara along for the company, after a bout of sickness the pups settled down and it was a lovely drive up North, we went for lunch to Jackie Frasers ( Wyvisview Beagles)she whipped up a fabulous Macaroni and cheese ( Thank you so Much Jackie!!) and the pups got a run around her garden, with a few attempts of escaping!! Then headed down to drop off Buddy, Sharron, Shannon and Aaron were all there to greet him. All of the pups and Cara had a fab time running through the hall chasing each other when they were all tired we left Buddy sleeping in his new home and headed off, Thank you Sharron for the beautiful canvas of the pups!!!
|
28th Today Murphy goes to his new home in Clydebank, a far shorter journey but again Ruby and Cara came along, Murphy settled in right away with new owners Andy and Karen, and has their children Jack and Olivia as his new brother and sister, Cara also made herself right at home on their window sill!!! Once again Murphy had fell asleep when we left which makes it easier to let go.......
We have Ruby for another few weeks.

May
1st Pups arrived just after midnight, first born a Tri dog weighing 388g, an hour later a T&W dog weighing 318g, and last but not least 20 minutes later a Tri bitch weighing in at 326g, Fudge is a great wee mum, feeding and cleaning pups.
We have now missed a lot of shows due to my broken wrist including SKC. We still have not qualified Cara for Crufts 2012, so I am now on a mission, I need to get her back in the ring and gain her confidence.

March
Crufts: another long journey leaving home at 23:30 to be at Debbies for 00:30, Debbie then drives us down to Birmingham, arriving at 5:30 am, who said dog showing is glamorous!! We entered the show at 6am and got settled in, Lagan performed well in his class and received a VHC well done Lagan and Debbie!! Cara had to wait until lunch time before her class, I had worried for weeks as to how she would be on the table with the judge, as due to her season we stopped the training. She was a wee star, although we didn’t get placed, I was very happy with her performance and couldn’t have asked for any more, I now hope she has gotten over her fear of people looking in her mouth and enjoys the shows. Huge thanks to Debbie for letting us travel with them!!
|
31st Fudge went to vet for a scan today, we are now preparing for pups! |
February
Once again Cara’s timing is impeccable, and she starts her season on the 3rd, so no shows or training for a few weeks now.
Fudge also came into season so no dogs to show at the moment as Darci prefers outside venues!!
|
January
Monty gets his Show Certificate of Merit, well done Monty & Fiona a fab start to the year.

News of our little ‘special’ beagle Willow ( Cara’s sister ) owned and loved by Louise and Andrew Mckee, Willow was born with slight nerve damage to one side of her wee face and had to be syringe fed as she couldn’t feed from Darci herself, she went to live with Louise and Andrew and their beautiful Lab cross Darcy, Louise started training with Willow at the end of last year and here she ............little Willow proudly wearing her rosette, her class was seven weeks long and entailed of sit, stay, fetch and recall. Last week was agility but she was a little wary of the hoops. Week five she had to perform her number one trick of dancing on her two back legs! Louise tells me Willow will do anything for a cocktail sausage. Willow is having a wee break from training for a few weeks but is starting another seven week block of more intense training soon. Well done Little Will’s!!!!!!
